This is an original glossy colour postcard (size approx 3½" x 5½") published by Photo Precison of St Ives, circa 1960s (?). Numbered DF17/PT34731 in their Colourmaster International range, it features a view of the Caul (the weir) and Whitesands in Dumfries. with a line-up of Western SMT buses in the Whitestands bus station.

• The card is in very good pre-owned condition with minimal signs of handling but slight corner wear; it's unwritten and postally unused and will be sent in a card-backed envelope for added protection.
