*Link to video below* This is a 1911 front strap checkering jig/vice blocks. Made in my own garage for people who want an affordable solution to DIY 1911 front strap checkering. They are reversible front to back, depending on which serrations you are cutting. The blocks in the forward position offers alignment for vertical serration cuts, backwards to allow for free-hand horizontal cuts). As mentioned, these also serve great as simple vice blocks for your everyday 1911 gunsmith work. These come with 2 zip ties for front strap checkering work.
