This product is a vintage plush toy of Mr. Merlin, a classic character from Disney's "The Sword in the Stone" franchise. The plush was manufactured in China and sold by Sears. It is part of the Disneyana collectibles category and is associated with the Disney Classic characters.  He has some dirt on his feet, and lower robes, perhaps a rinse out with oxy clean while holding his beard away, will resolve this.
