There is nothing wrong with long reach but it's important to find the equilibrium of balance for perfect steering control, climbing ability and descending confidence. The SQlab bars feature a deep 12º and 16º back sweep which works well to bring your hands in line with your steering axis - making handling as your bike should be. If you are one of those riders that are suffering from wheel wash out riding these new longer reach bikes - the SQlab bars will help bring your steering offset back. The larger sweep also helps with placing your hand at more comfortable angle, as our elbows move in for more mechanical advantage our hands naturally face outwards. These are very strong bars which have passed the Zedler end of life test with flying colours.
