THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS published by Golden Pleasure Books, London, in 1964 - GPB first edition.

Based on James Fenimore Cooper's classic, GBP have managed to misspell his name on both the cover and title page!

Fenimore's text has been 'adapted' by Richard Sadler in order to squeeze it into 60 pages including illustrations. The illustrations are by R Follet and the combination of the vibrant images and the lively design make this an attractive book, and a lot more accessible to a younger reader than the original text. Hardback book with pictorial boards - no dust jacket.

This unusual misprint edition from 1964 is in very good condition, making it a great addition to any collection.
