Fabulous vintage hand blown thick green rain glass decanter with mercury glass and cork stopper.
The shape of the decanter is so cool -it has 3 sides and each side is indented so it is easy to hold. Lots of “rain” bubbles. The way the bottom of the glass is blown it creates an illusion that there is metal at the base (there is not).
I bought this from an old Miami home. I think the glass was made in Mexico but I am not 100% sure. The inside of the bottle is a little dirty (not bad)- I have not tried to clean it.
In very good condition. I took a photo at the top of the bottle of what looks like it could be a chip inside but it is not m, as it is flat to the touch-this must have occurred when the bottle was blown.
The bottle is quite heavy.
