MeshGuard, an Orage Case for HELTEC V3 WiFi LoRa 32 board.

This case is designed to accommodate the widely available Nokia BL-5C battery type and it is provided with a suitable battery connector, on which the power supply cord needs to be soldered.

Alternatively, the case can be ordered with a 503040 battery, which has an integrated connector (no soldering neded); this battery is sitting loose in the case therefore BluTack, or double-sided tape needs to be used.

Hence, the antenna is a critical component in a wireless device, the antenna adapter is often ignored; this is why I have ordered custom SMA adaptors for these cases (35mm cable length) - a shorter cable minimizes signal loss due to attenuation.

Please note:

You need some basic skills in wiring and soldering to install the battery.
You may have to connect the battery wires to the HELTEC kit wires, and route the SMA cable.
The space inside the backpack is limited, so you will have to be careful and neat.
The antennas for the V3 Case variant does come with free SMA adapters (80mm lenght)
