Vtg Eastern Silver Co Plated Butter Dish Heart Lid Bowl Legs Knife Holder Dents

Beautiful old covered dish, silver plated, lots of tarnishing and discoloration. Theres a quarter size area of dimples or pings in the inside bottom, looks like someone beat on it

with a sharp object and a larger smooth dent on the outside bottom. Theres also several other dents bends and dings in various places. The lid and the rim of the bowl are both bent, lid still sits ok but you can tell its off a little, has a slight gap.

Now for the beauty in it, it’s signed, very elegant looking dish, has a heart shape handle on top, and theres an etched flower design that looks like a daisy. There is a cradle on the side that should hold a butter serving knife but the knife is missing. If you’ll notice, in some of the photos, I have the lid resting in the cradle, I know it doesn’t belong there but it’s an idea of how it might be repurposed as some other type of service piece.
