25 litres of Bitumen paint (dearomatised)

Dearomatising reduces VOC's making it safer to use and better for the environment. The only side effect is a slightly longer drying time.

·         Bituminous Paints are used for weather protecting steel work, waterproofing, wood, concrete, potable water tanks...etc

·         It is also used for any exterior metal work and iron work such as fire escapes, ladders, gutters, down pipes, railings, fences and gates, etc.It is used to coat ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals and other construction materials, even in marine environments.

·         It is a flexible coating solution that can be used both above and below ground.

When dry provides an odourless Bitumen film that protects against water.

Before applying please ensure all surfaces are free of debris, dust and algae growths, for porous surfaces prime beforehand with a solution of one part white spirit to 4 parts Bitumen.

Ensure dry weather and surface before applying. Stir product thoroughly before application.

A minimum of 2 coats should be applied. Allow the first to dry before applying a second (normally about 24-36 hours depending on environmental conditions).

Application can be with a brush or roller

Store in original container out of direct sunlight. Protect from frost and make sure to keep away from sources of ignition.

If transporting make sure product is upright and lid is fully closed.

Use white spirit to clean tools and equipment, make sure to clean spillages before Bitumen has set.

This paint has had the flash point reduced to make the product safer to work with, the only side effect is the slightly longer drying time.
