This lovely pink transferware oval serving bowl was made in England in 1935 by the Adams China Co for export to the Fisher Bruce Co of Philadelphia. The Warranted Staffordshire piece is done in the English Scenic pattern and features several farm animals - cows, sheep, donkeys, and a horse in pasture. There is also a decorative floral band. The transfer is crisp and the glaze is bright. The bowl is just under 9" long, 6.75" wide and 1.75" deep. The weight is 14 oz. In nice vintage condition, there are no cracks. There are virtually no utensil scratches to the interior. There is some pitting, roughness, and staining along the edges, mainly seen from the underside as captured in the final few photos. Zoom in on all for better detail and measurements. Packaged with care and shipped promptly with USPS Ground Advantage Mail.
