The engine was manufactured in 1953 by Herkimer Tool & Model Works in Herkimer, NY. It features a one-piece cast
crankcase, lapped piston, and steel liner. It has a beam mount design.
The engine turns smooth with good compression. The plug
has been tested and glows bright. Some scuffs / scrapes as shown in pictures.
