The mythical fish door knocker has, over the centuries, been depicted in many forms. Here, with the mythical poseidon fork design tail, it is thought the fish depicted power and a mastery of the seas.

This delightful fish door knocker, its design originating from New England, stands out from the door in fine detail. Unlacquered.

Base plate and striking plate 43mm (1 3/4") wide.
Distance between fixing point approximately 75mm (3")

These Door knockers are suitable for wooden doors.  They are also suitable for UPVC and Composite doors so long as you can drill into the door, or through it.

NOTE - You are purchasing one Door Knocker in your chosen finish, the pictures with multiple knockers are purely to show the various finishes and designs available.  Please also be aware that each knocker is handmade and therefore you may occasionally see a blemish on the item which would of been caused by a few grains of sand having dropped into the molton brass, these marks do not distract from the beauty of the item and are quite normal.
