Lot of 2 Bubble Glass Candle Holders, 3.5" Round, Clear Hand-Blown Art Glass, Mexico
Object: This auction is for a pair of beautiful art glass candle holders that could also make impressive paperweights. They are hand blown and hand crafted in Mexico. The uncontrolled bubbles are intensified near the base and become larger and more spread apart near the top. The centers are indented to hold a taper candle of about 1" in diameter. Your creativity with lighting and candles, or with flowers and other accents could greatly enhance these already magical pieces. The last 2 photos on this page show them with an ordinary taper candle and also with a flower bud. Photo props are not part of this auction. Condition: Very good pre-owned possibly vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or surface wear to note. The polished bases show minor wear from use or from manufacturing. Any bubbles or irregularities in the glass are from the handmade process and not damage of any kind. Most of our items are estate finds and are in good to excellent used condition. Vintage, pre-owned items will not usually be in mint condition, but may show signs of age, use, or wear from being pre-owned and loved for many years. We try to describe any and all condition issues but may miss some. A defect not noted does not constitute an item "not as described."
Measurements: Each measures 2" high, 3 1/2" in diameter at the widest and has a 1 1/2" diameter flat base. The indented centers measure about 1" in diameter and about 3/4" deep.
Weight before Packaging: Both pieces together weigh 2 pounds, 8 ounces.
