Vintage 1972 ticket for the game between the Pittsburgh Panthers and the West Virginia Mountaineers played on 11/4/1972 at Pitt Stadium in Pittsburgh. WV defeated Pitt 38-20 in the Backyard Brawl with a crowd of 40,286.
The Pitt Panthers were led by head coach Carl DePasqua in his 4thseason. They would finish 1-10.
WV was led by Legendary head coach Bobby Bowden in his 3rd season. They would finish 8-4 aond lose to NC State in teh Peach Bowl.
This ticket is in VG condition with minor wear with aging on the reverse. Please see the photos for details.
