Vintage 1963 ticket for the game between the #12 Pittsburgh Panthers and the #10 Syracuse Orangemen played on 11/2/1963 at Pitt Stadium in Pittsburgh. Pitt defeated Syracuse 35-27 in front of a crowd of 44,090.
The Pitt Panthers were led by 9th year head coach John Michelosen. They would finish 9-1 and #3 in the final coach's poll and 4th in the AP.
Syracuse was led by head coach Ben Schwartzwalder in his 15th season. They would finish 8-2 and #12 in the coaches poll.
This ticket is in G-VG condition with a couple of small creases. Please see the photos for details.
