These THREE pieces of Staffordshire pottery produced in England by Myott & Sons are in the "Shakespeare Land" pattern and feature popular sites in the Bard's home country. The dinner plate, 9 7/8" across, has a view of Anne Hathaway's Cottage; the 8 1/2" oval dish is centered with an image of the Shakespeare Memorial; the gravy boat/pitcher, about 7 1/2" from spout to back of handle, has a picture of Mason's Court inside.
These treasured mementos from a visit to Shakespeare's home area are in very nice vintage condition. There is some crazing but no chips or cracks.
