Valentino® Strata Cork ™ The cork mounted on the flute's head joint is made of a new artificial material, and its unique five-part structure maximizes resistance to humidity changes. This keeps the reflectors on the headjoints out of position, maintaining pitch accuracy longer than regular corkscrews.
Valentino® Goldfinch Pads™ These pads are very durable and resistant to changes in humidity. It maintains a better seal for a longer period of time due to less deformation compared to regular flute pads.
Urethane Foam Most standard flutes use small felt pads to reduce noise and wear at the point of contact of metal key mechanism parts. Over time, the thickness and shape of the pads can change, reducing the softness and playability of the key mechanism. YFL-222HD uses durable artificial material instead of felt to ensure long-term key mechanism stability.
