IMPORTANT NOTE: The housings are designed for a tight fit around the lock. The Yale Assure Lock Deadbolt (YRD226) and Yale Assure Lock SL (YRD256) look identical but have slightly different form factors. The interior lock of the YRD226 has a rubber gasket around the bottom of the lock and will therefore NOT fit the housing for the YRD256. The housing for the YRD226 will fit the YRD256 albeit somewhat loosely.

Made of a durable plastic for robust and long-lasting protection. Protects your smart lock interior lock from sun, rain and wind. The housing can be installed simply over your existing smart lock interior lock installation. Mounts with 2 or 3 screws. Made in USA. (Interior Lock not included.)

Available in Standard and Child-proof version. The child-proof version is 0.6" (15mm) wider than the standard version. It requires a gentle squeeze with an adult-size hand to open. The child-proof version is also useful to prevent patients with dementia from unlocking the front door. Mounts with 5 screws.
