This is a model kit of the Buccaneer S.2B used in the Gulf War
The Blackburn Buccaneer (also known as the Hawker Siddeley Buccaneer) entered service in the Royal Navy in 1962 but suffered with issues caused by a lack of power. This was solved by fitting the Buccaneer with more powerful Rolls Royce Spey engines, this became the Buccaneer S.2.
This is a model of the improved Rolls Royce powered S.2 used by the RAF as a low level attack aircraft during the Cold War.
