Object: This auction is for a lot of 2 Arthur Court cast aluminum items in their popular "Apple" pattern. Included is a 20" oblong serving tray with matching serving spoon. Each is signed with a copyright date of 1992 or 1993. The original boxes are included along with an informative Arthur Court insert. 

Artist/Studio:  Arthur Court Design of California has been offering their innovative and beautiful glass and metal table products for over 50 years. From their website, "Mr. Arthur Court founded the company in 1966 with a focus on interior design. Our breakthrough came in the 1970s when we became the first company in the US to incorporate aluminum into our tabletop collections. Since then, Arthur Court Designs remains a leader in the aluminum tableware and home décor industry." Each of their items is designed in California, USA and then hand-crafted and polished to a high shine by artisans from around the world. Most items are cast, with each craftsman's individual flair, from raw and/or recycled aluminum." Source: Online research

Year:  The tray is marked "c1993" and the spoon "c1992."

Signed: Arthur Court's manufacturing mark is engraved on the bottom of each piece. The tray is marked "Copyright c, 1993, Arthur Court" and the spoon is marked "Copyright c, Arthur Court, 1993." Each also has a small, silver "Made in Taiwan" label on the bottom. The boxes each have a mfg label with the title and model number of the piece.

Condition: Very good, pre-owned, new and unused condition, in the original boxes. Boxes show some wear from age. White or colored spots are reflections from the camera. Any other irregularities in shape or surface, or any fleabites, etc. would be from the manufacturing process. Most of our items are estate finds and are in good to excellent used condition. Vintage, pre-owned items will not usually be in mint condition, but may show signs of age, use, or wear from being pre-owned and loved for many years. We try to describe any and all condition issues but may miss some. A defect not noted does not constitute an item "not as described."

Measurements:  Oblong tray measures about 20" long, 7" wide, and 1 1/2" high. The spoon measures about 12" long, 3 1/2" at the widest, and about 1" high.

Weight before Packaging:  Both pieces together weigh 2 pounds, 8 ounces
