Features/Selling points: This time we will introduce Omega's automatic watch "Seamaster Ref.2846-8-1SC". Omega's main collection was born in 1948, just as it celebrated its 100th anniversary. This is a popular series developed as an all-round model that has a reputation not only for its functionality but also for its high design.
This item is a fully rotating movement model made in the 1950s. Equipped with Cal.501 with red gold plating and swan neck specification.
The dial is two-tone silver. A combination of upright index and dolphin hand. The Seamaster logo is lowered and the "S" design has a nice look that gives it a feel of the era. The SS case has a thick round shape with a snapback. A seahorse is embossed in relief on the case back. The band is equipped with a rare 1966 caterpillar extension bracelet (Ref.1035 No.13-FF4). This is a timepiece with a high level of perfection that will attract watch fans who exude a mature atmosphere that is not overly decorated.
OMEGA: OMEGA was founded in 1848 by Louis Blanc in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Taking pride in being the ultimate watch, the brand name comes from the last letter of the Greek word ``Ω=Omega,'' and it is a prestigious company that has achieved many outstanding achievements in its long history spanning more than 170 years since its founding.
Condition/Scratches/Breath pieces/Accessories
Dial (dial): Age-related changes such as burns, stains, and spots are observed. There is no fading of characters or memory. The hands and indexes are deteriorated.
Case/back cover: Scratches and scratches are visible. The engraving on the back cover is clear. There are no large dents.
Windshield: Scratches and scratches are visible. Daily visibility when worn is sufficiently ensured.
Bless: You can see the Ω mark on the buckle. There are some scratches, scratches, stretching, and dirt, but it can be worn.
Method of operation: The knob on the right side of the case is the crown. You can manually wind it in the same position.
Although this is an automatic watch, if the hands have stopped moving, shake the watch body lightly in your palm, wind the crown manually, and check that the hands are moving before use. Wind the crown by turning it to the right (clockwise) and pushing it forward with the pads of your fingertips. Roll up as slowly and gently as possible.
Pull the crown and turn it to move the hands and adjust the time. There is no hack (second hand stop) function.
Accessories: Only the main body.
Daily difference/size: The daily difference is around 30 seconds when measured over a 24-hour period. (I think there will be some differences in posture during implementation). Lug width is 18mm. Case diameter is approximately 34mm (excluding crown), length (lug to lug) is approximately 41mm, thickness is approximately 11mm (including windshield), and arm circumference is approximately 18cm.
