"Lovely quality dress. Ordered navy in my usual Boden size 10. Definately a looser fit but thats the style of this dress if I sized down would be too tight around bust.
I am 5ft 1" & regular is knee length on me.
Great with ballet flats for casual look or add heels & jacket for evening out.
Biggest bonus is it zips at back so you can step into it. Hope all Boden dresses are now like this as side zips make getting on & off so difficult!

"Beautiful dress in a gorgeous orangey/red that blends well with navy, black, white or cream. Easy to dress up or down. Impressed by the quality. However the dress is very fitted to the body and I found it too snug in my usual size 10. Fine in the hip, but very slender around the middle. Would be OK for the sylph-like younger body but it may expose some lumps and bumps even in the very slim more mature shape. I chose the long which sits perfectly on the knee (I am 5'4"). I will certainly exchange my 10 for a 12. Generally speaking I think Boden sizing can be a bit hit and miss and I am ranging between and 8 and a 12 depending on the garment. I also ordered the textured ponte dress in a 12 but this was the same fit as the Barbury shift in a 10."
