Beautiful California Impressionism style plein air watercolor painting of the Carmel Mission circa the 1930's before it's Harry Downie led restoration. Has Point Lobos and the ocean in the background. The painting has several fairly small abrasions, marks and stains, however no holes or tears. This painting is unmatted and unframed. 

Roni Cummings was born in New York City and studied art in Paris at The Grand Chaumiere and in New York at The Parsons School of Fine Art. She lived most of her life in the Monterey Peninsula and Carmel in California.

According to Ask Art she has exhibited widely including The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City, The Crocker Museum in Sacramento, The Pacific Grove Art Center and The Art Students League in New York City.
