This uncirculated 1,000 Kazakhstani tenge note is a commemorative banknote issued by the National Bank of Kazakhstan in 2013 to commemorate Kultegin, the general of the Second Turkic Kaganate. It is a yellow, brown, and blue note that bears the signature of Grigoriy Marchenko and measures 134 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side is vertically oriented and features a fragment of the Kultegin sculpture, the national emblem, the national flag, and the Kazakh Eli monument. Its reverse side shows a stag deer, petroglyphic drawings of Turkic warriors on horseback, and the monument of Turkic writing at the Kultegin memorial complex. Security features include a 12-mm wide holographic stripe with the flag, bank logo, and ЕСКЕРТКІШ ТЕНГЕ (Eskertkish tenge), a solid security thread, a motion windowed security thread, and a watermark of a mythic Samruk bird with an electrotype 1000.
