Vintage Matchbook with custom image of Mark Fein 1950's Lido Night Club Paris.  Though manufacturer says NY we believe it was printed in Paris as Fein traveled there with his wife Nancy around 1957 - she is to the left of the image.  Looks like a 20-Strike matchbook.

And the important part:
In Oct. 1963, Mark Fein shot and killed his bookie in NYC to whom he owed a sizable sum of money from some bad betting on the World Series between Yankees and Dodgers.  Fein's prostitute lover and a couple of accomplices dumped the body in the Harlem River while Fein took his wife to dinner.  Eventually the lover implicated Fein and he was found guilty of 2nd degree murder and sentenced to 30 years.  The story made national headlines including many tabloids and pulp magazines.  His wife Nancy and 3 children left him and the family dropped his name.  He was paroled in 1977.
