These cute earrings dont disappoint. They are marked TB-48; the date system Mexico implemented after the Eagle was retired in the late 1970s.  The first letter is for the town name; T for Taxco, and the second the artisans last  name. The number stands for the order of registry. Alas, Mexico did not keep good records of their smiths, so its almost impossible to know the artisans identity here . These cute earrings weigh 11.2 grams and are in good condition with the normal scuffs and scratches vintage silver acquires.
