Set of Four Dorothy Thorpe Persimmon Pattern Salad Plates, the plates measure a little over 7 1/2" in diameter and stand 7/8" high.  They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, discoloration, crazing or flea bites.  There is a tiny bit of scuffing on the orange satin finish from storage.  The gold foil design of a butterfly and flowers is still perfect and shiny and even the gilt edge of the plates is in perfect condition.  Dorothy Thorpe's designs typify the Mid Century Modern Aesthetic and are highly sought after.  I have four sets of four plates available and will gladly combine shipping.
