This purchase is for a pair of 7” Round Semi Sealed headlights with Glass Lenses. These have the E marking in the lens.  The 7” (178mm) light is a universal fit

There are 3 locating tabs on the rear to make sure they are fitted the right way around as it does affect the light from left to right and up and down for the Hi/Lo beam. They have ADR approval for Australian standards.

These lights have curvatures designed to send light out in a 3d kidney bean shape so that it covers the road surface to the right in front of oncoming traffic, but also lifts to the left and lights up the opposite side of the road and well forwards directly in front of you. When you hit the high beam the light is then beamed all over the road and beyond.

Some other lights have flat reflectors which can look fine, however, do little for full light projection.

There is no plastic crap (or ABS as some like to call it) here. The light body is metal with a smooth finish with a nonfading glass lens and rubber boot to help with waterproofing around the globe.

These lights take a H4 globe which is not supplied, however, they are a very popular globe and are readily available from any automotive parts supplier, or can be supplied for a small extra cost.

The H4 globes have 3 pins on the rear the same as sealed beam lights and are a direct replacement for sealed beam lights along with an H4 globe to plug straight into your vehicle.

NO GLOBES ARE PROVIDED WITH THESE LIGHTS - However, we can supply them at an additional charge.

These lights are simple and easy to install:

  1. Firstly remove the ring around the lights already in the vehicle by undoing the 3 screws.
  2. Gently tap out the old light and unplug the wires from the back from the globe.
  3. Carefully insert the newly acquired H4 globe into the New light lenses. Without touching the H4 globe (Never touch the Globe with your fingers)
  4. Put the rubber boot over the globe then attached the wires to the plug.
  5. Insert new lenses into vehicle and re-secure with the ring you removed earlier with the 3 screws.
  6. Enjoy your nice new brighter and clearer lights!!
