Designed/made by the qualified carpenter and for the real tradesman,

we are not like those profit driven people who don't look after our fellow workers,

it either solves the problem, or goes into the rubbish bin.

1x 18v portable soldering station with soldering iron and LED display, rated at 60w, it's perfect for electronic applications.

It's a concise but more rugged version of my previous best seller, the smart t12 soldering station. While still keeping all the core functions (heating, standby, boost, low voltage protection), it removed some less frequently used options.

And now it's with a completely redesigned ABS case, that's thick and heavy, yes it's heavy sorry for the added weight, but now you can drive your ute over it and it'll keep going! Strange to demand a soldering station to withstand a car rolling over right? But it's true stories that a few of my previous customer have their car run over the unit and broke it, or while soldering up under the bonnet, the bonnet dropped and crashed his unit (but saved his head)... So this time let's just make it crush proof, at the cost of a 'tiny bit' of added weight : )

It's still plug and play, all preset ready to go, so you can pretty much plug it in, give it 12 seconds to heat to 350 degrees, and start to work without having to setup anything!

Important information about the sale options: All options are sold without the battery, you'll have to use your own batteries to power them up.

The standard sets (makita set, milwaukee set, dewalt set) include the main unit, a handpiece, a tip (BL point tip), a coil style handle holder, a metal handle holder base also served as a sponge holder.

The bundle sets include what's included in the standard set + 3 extra different tips - a bent conical tip, a knife blade tip, a chisel blade tip (Please refer to the 9th picture of the listing)

Some quick facts for your information:

Handy information before you work:

Tin melting point is 183°C, lead-free tin melting point is 227°C, regular welding temperature is 300-380°C depending on what you are working with, but continuous run above 380 degree will significantly damage the tip so you should avoid it unless you really need to. The tips are consumables anyways.

What temperature to use? (These are just indications, it also depends on the type of tip in use.)

- 260 for SMD

- 300 for PCB electronics

- 340 for components with thicker leads

- 380 for heavier work with more mass or heat conduction
