ProTip:

This is my Go-To style jig whenever I’m fishing for largemouth bass in any rock, gravel or sandy environments. -  I trim the skirt so that it's just loner the bend in the hook by about 3/8 of an inch. Then I shorten the weed-guard so it's overlaps the hook point by about 1/4 inch.  Finally, I add a 4-inch trailer; either a Crawdad style that has less action when the water is cold or a Twin Tail Grub style when I want more action and the water is warm. - Robert Schneider - Owner Phenix Baits
