In 1972, a farmer found a large unknown stone in his grain field near Northbranch Kansas. It was not recognized as a possible meteorite until many years later. It was analyzed and revealed to be a H5 chondrite. It is one of many meteorites recovered by farmers across the midwest in the early to mid 20th century
