This item is a Single Piece of Vege Net or Vege Cloth 1.8m x 4m. This single piece of net is used to protect vegetables from fruit fly, cabbage moth and other insect pests.

Recommendation: Use as a throw/drape over net. For structures look at our fruit fly netting.

The vege net is designed as a throw over or drape net and not suited to structures.  There are two (2) reasons for this.  Firstly, the net is lightweight and the wind or a breeze can wear the net quickly where is sits on the hoops.  The other reason is when using poly pipe in some areas where the temperature gets quite hot the poly can heat up effectively melting the net where it touches the pipe. 

We have a product that we sell to stop this from happening, the “frame-guard tape” (not listed on ebay) is made from material with a sticky backing.  This tape is wrapped where the net touches the poly to effectively keep the net cool as well as allowing the net to grip to the material which should slow down any wearing in the net due to wind.
