Huge & Chunky Bakelite Beads. There are 33 inches of beads stretched out straight. On the display they hand down around 16 inches. The largest center bead is 1 7/8" long and 1 1/4" in diameter, the orange beads are around two inches across, The yellow beads that have lines in them are one inch long and the darker yellow beads are 11/16" long.
I did restring the beads using the materials that came with them except for new string. The string I used is black elastic and the same kind they were originally strung with. I'm not positive if it's all original to the piece or not. I think the original catch may have been a bit larger than this one.
They weigh around a quarter of a pound- they are too large for my scales so the post office hook scale says a quarter of a pound.
