Josephine Siccard-Redl, (Austrian, 1878-1938)
Born in Prague and traveling abundantly, ending up eventually near Buenos Aires, Josephine Siccard-Redl was well known for her vibrant color woodcuts.
Josephine was a trailblazer for for not only being a female artist but for many techniques and colorful designs that are now standard fare in woodblock print making .
