Light weight makes hand sanding easier and faster. Note these blocks are extra stiff and are not designed to flex. The long blocks flex a little if they are over 24" long.
Use 2 3/4" wide abrasive available in standard 16 1/2" lengths or rolls. Use a scissors to cut to proper length depending on the best sanding block length.

These blocks are designed to be used in a wet or dry environment. Do not let them soak in water for hours, the plastic can absorb water slowly. The flatness of the block and the integrity of the finish can degrade if exposed to water for long periods of time.

Note, this block selection does not have a rubber backing pad. The face is hard and flat and Ideal for ultimate control when sanding flat surfaces.
These Hand Sanding Blocks are also available with a professional rubber pad.

Since this package typically weighs less than 1 lb. it often ships as fast as a letter. We do not ship this package USPS Priority Mail unless the total weight of the package is close to two pounds...because it costs significantly more money and is typically not any faster delivery.
Note: This product is waterproof getting the block wet is fine.
Some Longboard Sandpaper is not suitable if it gets wet. Test a small corner to see if the paper is water resistant.
This tool comes in various sizes and is an excellent tool for small to large projects. Use it to sand furniture, floors, walls, ceilings, etc. Use it to sand wood, painted surfaces, from projects ranging from home repair to autobody to boat repair. It is especially useful when sanding large flat areas such as sheetrock. The bottom surface of the block is extremely flat. This is a great block when a mirror flat surface is desired.
We recommend trying the shorter length blocks first and ordering the long 20" through 33" long blocks after you have some experience using our product line.
The most useful and popular blocks are our 5 1/2" to 16 1/2" long blocks. The shorter blocks use standard size Longboard Sandpaper, 2 3/4" wide x 16 1/2" long cut to length. The longer blocks use one or more sheets cut to proper length with a scissors...or simply use PSA abrasive on a roll.
This is our low price kit and DOES NOT INCLUDE any Pressure Sensitive PSA sandpaper. We recommend 36 grit or 40 grit coarse & 80 or 100 grit medium for quick material removal.
Always select open coat abrasives that can be unloaded if clogged by whacking the face of the sandpaper with a thin wire rod such as a coat hanger wire or small wooden paint stick or rod.
