You are viewing a Longaberger PROTOTYPE Handled Serving Tray Basket in a Pewter Stain.  This Basket measures 19”Lx 13.5”W x 2.75”H.  You are purchasing the BASKET ONLY.  This Basket is ideal for holding the Longaberger Handled Platter and the Large Rectangular Tray.  Take your platters right from the oven to this basket for serving all your favorite foods.  A Prototype is the first Basket made and presented to the Longaberger Design Team to determine if that particular item is cost effective to make and sell.  Some Prototypes were numbered and placed in the historical area-not for sale.  Other Prototypes were accepted and then produced for the public to purchase with possibly some minor changes-such is the case with this particular Basket. In 2021, a sale of the historical merchandise was conducted at The Longaberger Homestead.  That is where this basket came from.  This Basket is brand new and comes from my smoke-free home.
