1961 Virginia vs. North Carolina ticket stub from game played on 12/2/1961 at Kenan Memorial Stadium. The Tar Heels defeated the Cavaliers 24-0 in front of a crowd of 28,000.
This was Jim Hickey's 3rd season as head coach of the Tar Heels.
UVA was coached by Bill Elias.
This ticket is in NM condition. This ticket is made of nice thick sturdy cardboard and is not torn at the perforated edge giving a much larger stub. This seems to be common with the UNC home football tickets of the era. Please see the photos for details.
