About Guerrino Bardeggia

Pittore,disegnatore, ceramista e scultore, Guerrino Bardeggia é nato a Gabicce Mare (PU) il 10 ottobre 1937.
La sua formazione artistica si è consolidata ad Urbino, dove si è diplomato all’Istituto diBelle Arti.
Artista e poeta, nella sua proficua e dinamica carriera ha allestito oltre duecento mostre personali, é stato invitato ad
innumerevoli collettive e ha vinto oltre cinquecento primi premi e premi speciali, fra i quali si ricorda, in particolare, il
Premio Ignazio Silone 2002, attribuitogli per la sua attività artistica ed umanitaria. E’ stato inoltre nominato Cavaliere
della Repubblica Italiana, Cavaliere Ufficiale della Repubblica per meriti artistici, Commendatore dell’Ordine di San
Gregorio Magno e Benedizione Apostolica da Giovanni Paolo II°.
Ha ricevuto ulteriori numerosissimi riconoscimenti, cittadinanze onorarie, onorificenze accademiche; ha partecipato ad
importanti rassegne d’arte italiane e straniere, nonché a trasmissioni televisive su emittenti nazionali e locali.
Accanto ad un’azione artistica proiettata all’oggettivazione iconica di molteplici tematiche, vanno evidenziati i notevoli
cicli dedicati soprattutto alla sfera del sacro e all’universo letterario. Al riguardo spiccano i progetti ispirati all’Inferno di
Dante, alla poesia di Carducci, nonché ad episodi desunti dalle sacre scritture; si ricordano inoltre, le creazioni illustranti
il film “Amarcord” di Fellini.
L’artista ha esposto in spazi prestigiosi in Italia e all’estero, quali Palazzo dei Diamanti a Ferrara , Villa Aldrovandi
Mazzacorati a Bologna. Sue opere pittoriche e scultoree sonoPresenti in pregevoli collezioni private, nonché in
considerevoli spazi pubblici, musei e pinacoteche, a destinazione civile o religiosa, “ in particolare la chiesa parrocchiale
di San Benedetto in Cattolica: un unicum di disegno, di pittura e di scultura dove drammaticità e speranza sono
inscindibilmente unite a formare un intimo alla fede, invitando ad andare oltre la materia ed entrare nello spirito”.
La sua arte è avvalorata da numerose attestazioni critiche ed è documentata in significativi cataloghi e monografie.
Guerrino Bardeggia è scomparso a Gabicce Mare il 5 gennaio 2004.
