Die 5 Euro Silbermünze thematisiert das Klima. Das Motiv der Münze entstammt dem Wettbewerb "Zeichne eine Münze", an dem verschiedene Schulen in der Gemeinde Guarda teilgenommen haben. Sieger des Wettbewerbs war Tiago Ferreira, ein Schüler der 6. Klasse der Schule Carolina Beatriz Ângelo. Die aus 13,5 Gramm Silber geprägte Münze zeigt mehrere Ausschnitte des Globus mit Häusern und Bäumen sowie Wolken und Blitze. Die Aufschrift "O CLIMA" verweist auf den Ausgabeanlass. Die Rückseite zeigt eine Zeichnung des gesamten Globus, der von den Menschen besiedelt ist und von unterschiedlichen klimatischen Einflüssen umgeben wird. Im Verhältnis zu den Wolken, Blitzen und Regentropfen wirkt die Erde relativ klein, wodurch ein dramatischer Effekt entsteht. Der Nennwert "5 Euro" und das portugiesische Wappen sind ebenfalls im Design enthalten. In der Mitte der Münze befindet sich zusätzlich ein Punkt in der Farbe Blau, bei dem es sich um ein Polymer handelt, welches in die Münze integriert wurde. Es steht repräsentativ für den "Blauen Punkt", welcher typischerweise auch im Recycling zum Einsatz kommt. Die Lieferung der portugiesischen Silbermünze in der Qualität Polierte Platte erfolgt im Original-Etui inklusive einem Echtheits-Zertifikat.

The 5 Euro silver coin is dedicated to the Climate. The motive of the coin originates from the competition "Draw a coin", in which various schools in the municipality of Guarda participated. The winner of the contest was Tiago Ferreira, a 6th grade student from Carolina Beatriz Ângelo School. Struck from 13,5 grams of silver, the coin shows several sections of the globe with houses and trees, as well as clouds and lightning. The inscription "O CLIMA" refers to the occasion of issue. The reverse shows a drawing of the entire globe populated by humans and surrounded by various climatic influences. In relation to the clouds, lightning and raindrops, the Earth appears relatively small, creating a dramatic effect. The denomination "5 Euro" and the Portuguese coat of arms are also included in the design. In the center of the coin is an additional dot in the color blue, which is a polymer that was integrated into the coin. It is representative of the "Blue Dot" which is typically used in recycling as well. The Portuguese silver proof coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
