About Us Truly Moroccan is a small family business based in Yorkshire. We specialise in traditional Moroccan products, including the finest quality pure argan oil, tagines, leather items and other handworked goods. We work mainly with self-employed traditional craftsmen, who produce their goods for the shops and markets of Morocco. Karen grew up in England and Said in Tangier, Morocco. The family lived in the south of Morocco for a number of years, where we were introduced to the delights of argan oil and spent time discovering the many traditional crafts which are still very much part of Moroccan life. Our pure argan oil comes directly from a women's cooperative in the south of Morocco and is certified organic. The oil has been registered on the CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) and we have a full cosmetic product safety report by a registered toxicologist. All our bottled argan oil products are fully compliant with European legislation on cosmetic products. Most of our leather goods come from a small traditional workshop in Fez, Morocco. The leather is tanned using organic tanning agents in traditional tanneries in the medina (old town) of Fez, and the bags are hand cut, stitched using a sewing machine and hand finished in the workshop. A few of our more expensive bags are made in a larger workshop in Tangier.(jar) Shipping & Returns We aim to dispatch within 2 working days using the Royal Mail, Parcelforce or Courier. Free UK Delivery will usually take 3-5 working days. If your item is delayed in the post, please call your local sorting office first, to see if there is a package waiting for you. In our experience the post man does not always leave a card to tell you he has tried to deliver and these uncollected packages are returned to us! If your item does not arrive within 2 weeks, please contact us so that we can resolve the problem..
