“Dianna: Every Day is Dressed Up,” by Sander Marsman, published in the Netherlands in 2013, 88 pages, softcover in thick matte paper wraps, 9.25” by 7”. Limited edition of 250. Signed in front by Dianna. Exceptional independent photo book, the debut by a young Dutch photographer, a photo essay of an elderly transgender man known as Dianna. Presented as a diary of wardrobe, with numerous images of carefully chosen outfits for various places and events, with both the wardrobe and the elements of daily routine documented in a list and journal entries in the rear. Very finely printed, with pages in various pastel colors, and a black and white silver print portrait of Dianna as a young man tipped into the back cover. Impressive and overlooked book – most highly recommended. Rare - OCLC shows only one copy in American institutions, at Cornell. In excellent condition. Sold three already and this is now my last copy.
