For your consideration is a gemmy light base (N8) semi-crystal opal from Coober Pedy, South Australia. It features very bright (4.2/5) and non-directional red & green multicolors. The low-domed, pear-cut gem weighs 0.97 carats. It measures 10mm long by 6.5mm wide by 2mm thick. Clean face-up with no cracks or crazing, and a clean back. As always, this is ALL-NATURAL, untreated gemstone.
