Includes sash, hold down bolt and a free 12.875mm shaft collett.

We use one on our Craftsman / Dunlap and Delta lathe.
It also fits most other gap bed lathes.

This lathe roller / steady rest can be easily adjusted for different diameter material by simply adjusting the rollers on a t slot.
 
Use as a steady rest between centers or as a roller rest with no center.
 
You can Easily adjust the center height.
If you have ever tried to turn a pool cue shaft that is slightly warped on your lathe you know how hard it is. Your lucky if you don't beat it to pieces on the lathe bed. By simply moving this roller rest to just below the tip of your shaft you minimize the effects of the warp. This allows you to do a more accurate job while reducing the risk of damage to the shaft.
 
Turn your lathe into a cue lathe or small spindle turning lathe for furniture or other needs. Now it is simple to do shaft repairs, cue tip replacement and cleaning without  hiring a professional. This Roller rest will work excellent when Replacing cue tips, replacing ferrules, rewrapping cue handles, refinishing pool cues or cleaning and sanding shafts
 
We do recommend you use a piece of collet or tape wrap to protect the item you are turning at the rollers! We use a high quality industrial rubber roller with sealed bearings. This makes for a more consistent

Please Read; Do not learn how to use your new lathe product on an expensive shaft. Practice and learn on an inexpensive shaft. Do Not over tighten the rollers on your shaft or butt. If you do you can damage the shaft or butt. This is all simply common sense. I want to be sure we put it in black and white in hopes that it may save the users any trouble.
