Presented for your consideration is a Vintage 1940s Chrome Bakelite SAMSON Electric 2 Slice Toaster Model 5147N Parts/Repair.

Toaster is in good condition with a few areas of rust. Scratching wear is present on chrome. Bakelite is in good shape but has some staining. Cord is functional with no significant tearing.

When operating toaster be aware that it gets hot almost immediately. I wasn’t able to get the big dial (with Samson logo) to lower metal holders inside machine. They seem to be fixed in one position.

Since item is not fully operational it will be sold for parts/repair.

This is an unusual pop-up toaster. It heats two slices in a line. Turn the big wheel at the front to lower the bread, turn the small "Toast Release" button and it jumps out.
