Wireless Chair Alertamat - Fall Prevention Aids - Patient Safety - Nurse Call

A sensor mat to be used in chairs such as lounge or recliner chairs, that will sound an alarm to the nurse or care giver when a patient is getting up out of their seat. A discreet and versatile fall prevention aid, for those at risk of falls or suffer with dementia.

These Alertamats are most effective when placed under the chair cushion. The alarm is activated when the user leaves the chair they are seated on - when pressure on the chair cushion is relieved. The alarm will alert the care giver so they are aware of their patients change of location and to ascertain the patients safety. This is an ideal aid for Dementia patients or for those who may be at risk of falls when mobile on their own.

Wireless Chair Alertamats can be connected to a nurse call system through the Alerta wall point receiver (sold separately) for centralised action, or can be used on its own, independent of a nurse call system to give a localised alerts through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver only.

The wireless transmitter takes 2x 1.5v AAA batteries, an ideal product for one-on-one care, homecare or in smaller residential nursing homes.

The volume can be deactivated for silent in-room operation when connected to a nurse call system, ideal to use in situations if a patient is being transferred in or out of their desired seat, or if the chair is being cleaned.
