The Ukraine 1 Hryvnia banknote was issued by the National Bank of Ukraine in 2014. This note comes in a combination of yellow and blue. Featured on its obverse is the coat of arms of Ukraine and the Grand Prince of Kyiv Vladimir the Great. The back of the note depicts the bank logo, the burg of Vladimir in Kyiv with walled fortifications and churches, an eagle, a cross, a mace, an ax, and a sword. The banknote comes with a solid security thread with a demetallized Ukrainian text and a trident. It also bears a watermark that reveals Vladimir the Great and an electrotype hryvnia symbol. The banknote is 118 x 63 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
