Many famous swords were born, but the master craftsman "Seki no Sword" devised his own sword and sent out the best work with outstanding sharpness, beauty and artistry.
The times changed from the Edo period to the Meiji period, and many Seki sword craftsmen moved to the production of household cutlery.
The belief that Seki swords do not break, do not bend, and are easy to cut is firmly inherited in modern knife making.
The engraving of this product "Sekimagoroku" was made by Mr. Magoroku Kaneko, the 27th generation swordsmith, and while making the best use of his craftsmanship, he conveys its sharpness to the present day.
