Available in five widths, 60 cm, 90 cm, 120 cm, 135 cm and 180 cm, and cut to length from rolls, pieces are easily joined for even the largest of rugs or longest of runners. Sizes start from 50 cm by 60 cm, this is the default listing so you need to select a size suitable for your rug.

USAGE

  • Measure your rug, give it a good clean, either hoover the carpet or sweep, wash solid flooring which ever is beneath your rug.
  • Your rug needs to overlap the Foxi underlay by approximately 8 cm all around the perimeter i.e. the underlay purchased might need cut to a size smaller than your rug [use strong scissors or craft knife if necessary]. Feel free to contact me if you are unsure of size needed or if unusual or extra large rug.
  • If you are using two or more pieces of underlay to fit a large rug or runner do not overlap them just lay them edge to edge to avoid ridge in your rug.
  • Try and avoid moving Foxi too often since like Sellotape the adhesion reduces.
  • If you find Foxi grips to undelying carpet but rug floats across top of Foxi try fixing Foxi to back of rug with double sided carpet tape. Remember Foxi is not for rubber or plastic backed mats.

Foxi Underlays unique construction defeats the causes of rug rucking, creeping and sliding. On carpeted surfaces because the underlying carpet pile is invariable crushed and at a slant this has a racheting effect so that every time pressure is applied and then released to rug the pile springs back moving the rug in the direction of the slant. Foxi Underlays fleece construction halts this interaction anchoring your rug. On laminate or polished wood floors the slightly tacky Foxi Logo surface prevents normal sliding.
