Up for sale are these vintage Artoptic eyeglass frames, Model: Century, finished in Rhodium. These classic Italian-made wire frames are New Old Stock (NOS) and have never been worn.

They were acquired from the estate of a longtime optometrist and have been stored for many years. The frames remain in excellent unused condition with little to no shelf wear, if any.

Vintage optical frames of this quality are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly in unused condition.

Frame Details

Because these frames have been stored for years, they will likely require minor adjustment by an optician. Any optical shop should be able to install your prescription lenses and adjust the frames for a comfortable fit.

Artoptic was founded in the 1960s by eyewear designer George Gero, who helped introduce the idea that eyeglasses could be both functional and fashionable. The company became known for producing well-made European optical frames, many of which were manufactured in Italy and France, two of the world’s historic eyewear centers. Vintage Artoptic frames from this era are appreciated for their quality construction and classic styling.

Please confirm your sizing before purchasing, as returns are not accepted.
