These Fender 860L Dura-Tone(R) Coated Acoustic phosphor bronze strings have been my favorite acoustic strings since their release in the second have of 2018. They are wound on a special hex core wire for a brighter, more consistent, and long lasting tone. Fender Dura-Tone(R) strings are made with a specially applied micro-treatment that resists tone-killing grime and corrosion. These high quality strings will bring out the lush overtones inherent in the fine woods of your instrument and last up to five times longer while retaining natural feel and clear, full tone. These are light gauge, .010 - .048. If you are paying higher prices for other brands of coated strings you owe it to yourself to give these a try. I have been using the Dura-Coat 80-20's for the past year on my guitars. I have used all the major brand coated strings over the years, and despite the insane lower price (unless that's because those other guys have insane inflated prices) They have performed as well or better than all the others. They sound great and last longer than anything I've used. The first set I installed on my Rick Turner Renaissance design acoustic in late August of 2018. I played this particular guitar at least a couple of time per week at church and at gigs of which I had 70 that year. I finally changed the strings in early June of 2019. That's 9 1/2 months! And they still sounded good, just needed to be tuned a bit more often. I don't know how they'll hold up for you. This was an experiment just to give them an extreme test run. Do the math. They are 33% to 40% less expensive than the other brands (which I also sell, by the way). If they are just as good and hold up just as long as whatever you are using currently, they are a better choice compared to what you've been paying for the same tone and string life. The savings are exponential if you get longer use of these. You should at least give them a try just to see for yourself. If you're thinking that it is utterly stupid for me to try to sell you a cheaper string than other strings I also sell, you'd be correct. It makes no economic sense. Being a musician myself, however my business focus has always been to give my fellow musicians the best products at the best prices I can. Musicians don't like to waste money. Been there. Done that. So if I can share a good product with you, and you agree after trying them, we will do business again. And that's the bottom line.
